You won’t find another program like this anywhere! We are passionate about reviving historic skills and introducing them to the next generation. The handcrafting techniques your grandmother and great-grandmother once practiced as part of daily life are now fading away—but we’re here to change that. Now is the perfect time to enrich your life with heritage skills passed down through generations. Be warned—it can be really addicting! Who knows? You might just discover your next favorite hobby.
One of our signature artistic mediums is fiber! As fiber artists (among many other things), we raise our own fibers, including sheep wool, mohair from goats, and 4 different breeds of Angora rabbit wool, for hand spinning, yarn making, crocheting, knitting, felting, and weaving. We also source unique fibers from hyper-local farms and around the world, bringing them to life with historical artifacts and modern tools for YOU to experience firsthand. Programs are presented by Fiber Artist, Visual Artist, Shepherdess and Owner, Mama T of Mama T's Homestead LLC and her knowledgeable and friendly staff!

- Weave beautiful patterns on historic looms and delve into the fascinating world of traditional weaving.
- Our Community Weaving Project is available for individual locations , classrooms, camps, etc.
- Explore the "science behind the twist" with an up-close look at wool under a microscope.
- Snap a selfie with one of the world's smallest and cutest luxury fiber producers—an Angora bunny!
Our package deals include all this and more, offering hands-on activities, "please touch" tables, interactive demonstrations, and the chance to learn and create like never before.
